Day 1

Our guest speaker was Jonalee Squeochs who works for the Yakima forest management and they are working on a plan for climate change.  I learned that the climate change is stressing out our trees and making them vulnerable to diseases and Bark beetles E.T.C. On our way up to our camping spot we stopped and gathered wood fire roasting marshmallows and to start a fire. One of my classmates stuck her head on the widow sill and enjoyed the breeze and watched the forest scenery go by as we drove by the forest. We made camp at six ish and then we started setting up our tents and tables so we could start dinner and eat. We started a fire because the Mosquitoes were swarming us so bad that we needed to smoke them out. We were getting bitten badly.
